![]() candelabra socks Orange is one of those colors that people feel very strongly about, and I happen to love it. I couldn't resist this gorgeous skein of Mountain Colors yarn in a brilliant orange hue, and a stitch pattern mimicking candles seemed the ideal choice for this sock. Of course, nothing says that you need to use orange yarn - this pattern would look lovely in any solid or very gently variegated hue. Materials: Approximately 400 yards fingering-weight yarn Sample uses Mountain Colors Bearfoot (60% superwash wool, 25% mohair, 15% nylon) in Marigold. US1 (2.25mm) needles or size needed to obtain gauge cable needle Gauge: 8 stitches/11 rounds per inch in stockinette stitch Sizes: Foot circumference = approximately 7.5" |
