old-school knee-highs

Fitting the upper leg portion of knee-highs can be tricky, but knitting from the toe-up allows you to try on and fit as you go. This fun pattern knits up quickly in dk-weight yarn and sports retro-style striping on the cuff and toes. Make yourself a pair and I guarantee you'll feel the urge to dust off your roller skates!

Approximately 200 (250, 350, 400, 450, 500) yards dk-weight yarn in MC and 50 (75, 100, 150, 175, 200) yards in CC

Samples use Lorna's Laces Green Line DK (100% organic merino wool) in Mirth (MC on child's socks, CC on women's socks) and Echo (MC on women's socks, CC on child's socks).
