spring in oregon
These socks were modeled after the best-selling Autumn in Oregon Socks from my Gardiner Yarn Works pattern line, which is knit top-down. I decided that the falling leaves looked like sprouting shoots when turned upside down, and Spring in Oregon was born!
Approximately 400 yards fingering-weight yarn
Sample uses Shibui Sock (100% superwash merino wool) in Kiwi.
US1 (2.25mm) needles or size needed to obtain gauge, with an extra needle for attaching the cuff
9 stitches/11 rounds per inch in stockinette stitch
Foot circumference = approximately 8"
